| Description | This session will provide an explanation of the changes to employment and workplace laws which came into effect from 1 January 2010. These changes include the 10 National Employment Standards affecting all employers and the new Modern Awards replacing all existing award structures. This session will also give participants an overview of the recent changes that have come in operation in relation to ACT Work Safety and the current stage and timetable for introduction of the National OH&S changes. These developments have the potential to significantly impact on organisations in the ACT. | ||
