Environment Task Force

Major Focus

Promote the development of "environmental" industries and, by building on the strengths of ACT and regional businesses, foster leading edge best practice in environmental sustainability.

Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Enhance industry networks.

2. Continue to identify and upgrade knowledge of Canberra and region's unique strengths in environmental industries.

3. Encourage industry participation in ACT Government international activity, such as possible projects in China.

4. Identify potential external projects that provide funding opportunities.
